Z3 dual Update

Hi

I keep getting update notification on my Xperia Z3  dual version 23.0.F.1.74, when I connect to computer it shows the same version number exactly and when I click update it takes forever to contact the server and then I turn  it off. The update notification keeps coming back but with the same version again! any helpful ideas on that.

It maybe the same version but the update may have a slight change or fix to a system app which wouldn't require a complete firmware overhaul - Several other models have had similar updates including my Z1 and Z Ultra

Thank you Thommo, however I am not able to do the update through computer ( which seems the only way) the sony bridge for mac keeps checking the server for hours without any result..why cant update via wifi like everything else!

Hi

I am trying to update my Z3 Dual to get rid of the persistent notification on the phone, unfortunately Sony Bridge for mac though recognize the phone but will never update, it will be stuck at "talking to update engine" it never updates for hours.

any help?

I tried install reinstall Bridge for mac, no use!

The only thing I can advise you to do is to use a Windows based Pc or Laptop
