Z1 not booting/charging after failed update

Hi,

I tried updating my phone via pcc but battery got juiced up and phone might got switched off during the update process. Couldn't charge my phone to resume the update as the phone keeping looping with the Sony logo followed by message saying software update failed screen.

I read couple of posts related to same issues, where it is advised to first use Power Button + Vol Up combination to turn off the phone then charge. Unfortunately this is not working in my case, on pressing them phone shuts down but starts again while charging and I am not able to charge.

Please if any one know any alternate solution to solve the charging problem(or am I doing it wrong as it had worked for everyone else).

Charge the phone for 1 hour,force turn off(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates 3 times).Repair with SUS:

Yea i tried the force turn off many times while the phone was charging but the sony logo and message keep popping again and again.

Phone plugged in -> phone turns on -> I forced turn off(vibrates 3 times) -> 2 secs later phone turns on again-> I forced turn off -> it turn on again... This keeps happening.

I am happy leave it as it is but I guess the phone wont be charging while if I leave it for an hour like this.. ?

Just try to charge as I told you and repair with SUS.If not working,visit a sony service:

It worked! The phone keeps on charging even while rebooting again. Further updated to 4.4.2 and phone is working fine now.
