xperia zr wifi association rejected

HI,

I am using Xperia ZR C5502. I have upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3 but now i cant connect to secured wifi its showing "Association Rejected" i can connect to open wifi.

I given my mobile to sercise station of sony they formated but still same issue.

Sony please help me with this.

Hi. A also have the same problem on my Xperia ZR(I bought it 5 days ago). Currently I can connect to 5Ghz Wifi. But another one doesn't works fine. It just showing to me next process; Connecting - >> something that I can't  catch (it is very fast)->> Saved secured with WPA/WPA2

I've checked it on 5-7 routers. (in caffes, some free wifi, friends wifi) to exclude my home router from this test. Also I tried to reset my sittings to default settings from system menu. Android version in my Xperia ZR (C5503) is 4.3.

Could you hep us ? Because it seems  that no only I have that problem with wifi ?

ps sometimes it shows to me that I'm not in the range, even if I very close to router.

I too have the same isue with my Xperia Z. SInce receiving the 4.3 update I have been plagued by "Association Rejected" issues with all the Wi-Fi networks I use that used to work fine. All other devices I have still work fine with these networks (including other Android devices). Problem is definitely with the Sony and only started since the 4.3 update.

Sony, please provide a fix for this ASAP. This is causing many users increased data usage as Wi-Fi association is not able to work in background.

What's more worrying is how this problem arose for many after updating to 4.3 (myself included) however resetting the phone, downgrading to earlier software (4.2 which I'm currently on ) and even upgrading to a 4.4 ROM didn't fix this issue. No wonder this phone was ttoo good to be true, its built horrendously.

Same here.but for me wifi diconected enerty few minuts and dongrading/upgarding wont fix either?it satred with bt headset connection.

Please SONY support give us some help here I have tried resetting already. I am not able to connect to most networks and travelling so this is really an issue for me.

I recommend that you first check which firmware you have under Settings -> About phone. If your phone is using 10.4.B.0.569 there may be issues with WiFi while bluetooth is enabled. Try turning off bluetooth if you have this firmware in your phone. With the latest firmware, 10.4.1.B.0.101, bluetooth and WiFi will work together without any issue.
If turning off bluetooth doesn't help or you have the latest firmware and this happens with several networks i suggest that you contact a service location or local support for assistance: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

my current firmware is 10.4.1.B.0.101 still i cant connect secured wifi.

please advice.
