Xperia Z5 screen defect

Hello everybody!

I am owner of Xperia Z5, which is still under warranty. I am also on the latest nougat update.

A few days ago, when I was showing my friend some photos from skiing, I came across the screen problem. In the left bottom corner, some screen defect appeared (see the red circle in the attached picture). It is something, like there was more light coming through... It is actualy seen the most on white background. When other (darker) colours are used, it can only be seen at certain angles.

I have tried safe mode (still there), reset (still there), remove tempered glass (still there)... I do not know, how long it has been there, because I realized it just a few days ago. I can tell, that the phone is treated well (tempered glass on back and front, silicone case) and was never dropped.

Have you guys suffered the same problem? Is there some kind of fix? Or just can you shed some light., what could cause this problem? Can it get any worse?

I will be really grateful for any response.

In this case, based on the information you have provided, it would be best to contact your Local support so they can arrange an assessment at an authorized centre.

Dear ChloeS,

Do you think, that this can permanently solve my issues? I have talked to a guy with similar problems and he said, that after some time, the issues returned... Or do you think, that this defect can spread even more?
