Xperia Z3+ overheating and SD card problem

So after all this time the overheating problem still hasn't been fixed. My Z3+ is little over a year old and is running Android 7.1.1 and whatever the latest available update is. The overheating problem manifests when using this UC Browser, YouTube, and the camera. Gaming, watching videos, doesn't cause it from what I've experienced. Another thing, which I have experienced with other Sony phones, is that the phone doesn't charge, or charges very slowly when the screen is on, whether I'm using the phone or not, and with any charger (the phone's own charger or some other charger). The phone starts to heat up instead of charging. I've experienced this problem with my previous Xperia SP too. I'm unable to use that daydream feature because of this since the phone wouldn't charge. (The phone also doesn't charge when using certain apps but I assume that's because the battery is being drained faster than it is charged.) Is this a common problem or is it only me? Is there any fix for this?  The SD card problem is that this Z3+ has managed to successfully fry two SD cards within one month. The first SD card was around 3 years old and was carried forward from my previous phone. The other one was a brand new out of the box 32 GB card which has recently stopped working. I'm now reluctant to get a new SD card for my phone since I fear that it may end up getting fried again. Is this a problem with other Z3+ devices (or any other Sony phone) or is there something wrong with my phone? What could be the cause of this problem? Is there a way to prevent my phone from damaging other SD cards?
