Xperia Z3 gets hot and reboots (a lot)

Hi,

I just got back my Xperia Z3 from the service center that replaced my screen. After this my phone have started to reebot and turn itself off. I have used the Sony PC Companion to repair the phone twice (reset and reinstall all the software) but still have the same problem.

I have read o lot of posts here and have no SD-card installed and also removed my SIM-card. I have tried to use the phone in safe mode and without any WiFi. Nothing have helped.

I suspect that my phone reboots or turn itself of when the phone gets hot... but it could also be for some other reasons.

Is there anything more I can try to get this problem solved?

I sent my phone to the repair center. They changed The battery and the motherboard (i think). Now my phone workshop fine and have not rebooted for a week.

What are you doing when your phone heats up and yes if your phone gets to hot then like a Pc it will switch off to protect itself

You normally get a warning message if phone is going to switch itself off due to heat

The thing is that I do not get any warning message at all. I have read that some get warning when the for example film in 4K. But my phone shuts down very randomly. I only suspect that it could be something about that the phone gets a bit warm.

The problem started after my phone got repaired for a broken screen. I suspect something could have happened with the hardware during service.

Have you ran a full diagnostic check?

By the way,  when does the heat message come out? I never have seen 1 even when i was listening to music and night and left my phone under the pillow with screen on maximum bright and some how a game went on.  Aftef all night i took it out with 4% battery,  boiling hot back and i went to the battery HD app which i have installed and it said 59 Celsius i dont know how accurate was that but it was somewhere close to that temperature or evwn higher because i couldn't touch the device. It didnt turn off tho.

I have run the diagnostic check and everything seems fine. So I guess I just have to send it back to the service center for some kind of repair.

@Curnow1 I have read that some get a warning message then the for example shoot video in 4K. When the camera gets to hot, the warning message will appear. Never happend to me.

Well i just checked that ive inserted my 64gb sd card and started recording.  Yes after 4 minutes i got a message " your device is getting hot if this continues the app will close automatically. After 24 minutes nothing happened,  aftrr 30 minutes my sd card has been full so i deleted the video and back we go...  50 minutes the device is really hot but its still recording with w message every minute "your device is getting hot etc.. However no device shutdown / reboot / app closing
