Xperia z2 status bar not sliding down

I bought xperia z2 2 weeks ago. Just today my phone went crazy. The screen started detecting random touches every where _ghost touches_. I switched it off several times until the problem was solved . But apparently a new problem appeared. Now I can't scroll down the notification bar. I went to diagnostics where I could test the device. I tested the touch input and surprisingly the status bar area detects nothing at all. The screen works responds properly except for the upper most part ( status bar area). So I guess that this is a software problem . I tried restarting the device several times but it never worked. I hope I'll find a solution.

Thank you for your help. I have an unrelated doubt. When I check online for warranty details using IMEI number, it says valid till a date in August 2015. But the invoice is dated in June 2014. So any idea when would be the warranty valid till? A year from date of purchase or the day shown in online details?

Gues August would be the correct One, if Your country warranty is set by law to 1 year... Well... there was no Z2 in 2013 so the warranty can't carry the time that phone wasn't built in. You should ask the shop phone is from to be sure or guarantee card inside box what are the terms.

I also have the problem of cannot drugging the notification bar and hard in typing, typing is not as ease as before. But the norification bar can be pulled down when screen rotate into landscape. I annoy in this problem.How can I fix it?

Sorry guys. But you'll have to replace the whole screen. The digitizer is messed up so they'll have to change the whole screen. I didn't have warranty anymore so i had a repairshop repair it for me. Good luck.

I got the same problem. N it started all of a sudden. N d screen goes all insane acting on its own. Wanted to know if its a software or a hardware issue

But how come a of a sudden? And all these problems appeared ever since my fones warranty expired. Jus week before expiry my fone started dying once d battery is drained and not waking up. He Sony people exchanged my motherboard n gave n now this. Shows how much Sony **bleep** in case of its products.

I had this problem,, now i solve it thats all because of the Facebook messanger app new version delet it and you will fix it im sure from that dont worry, and tell me the results
