Xperia Z2 poor battery life

Hello, I have recently purchased the Xperia Z2. On full charge, it shows me an estimated time of around 24 hours, while on popular phone review sites and forums it has been quoted to last longer. The phone loses charge at 5 percent an hour doing nothing other than a few calls. Is this normal or should I get it checked?

Those battery life graphs seem reasonable to me.

You can never really compare your usage to others since they will make different amounts of calls, have the screen on for varying amounts of time and brightness etc etc.

Screen on time is always the big one and you appear to be well on your way to getting 6 hours off a full usage cycle. This is better than most large screen smart phones.

Mine has the same issue after the update, I've downloaded an app "Gsambattery" and checked, found out it's caused by "Google service", used the app to disabled the service and problem solved.

My service test menu does not show  "battery health test" - what to do ?

I do n ot see "battery health test" neither after activating so called "service menu".

Hi, mines worse quite often it uses 1% a minute even on stamina mode,location based wifi on,screen on auto,location off,Bluetooth and nfc off.
Sd card indicates the biggest use,39%
Checked for viruses.
My galaxy s2 had same problem, which was found to be corroded pins inside charge port which were shorting together.

I put that code in and it didn't give any options for battery

The code to check the battery 🔋 doesn't work on my phone and to be honest it seems really slow to open text messages and searching for contacts not happy
