Xperia Z2 Email Client

I'm using the default email app to access my Gmail (IMAP) emails and i'm finding that when i delete emails via IMAP they are remaining / re-appearing in the Trash / Bin. Any ideas? Many thanks.

Unfortunately I don't use stock email app, because it is a bit unclear to me. But you're right you have local trash bin and "imap" trash bin. You can arrange how messages are deleted, just go to Gmail on PC and you'll find several options under settings /Forwarding and POP/IMAP.

PS: For better experience I am using Aquamail Pro app:smileysmileywink:

I've got another problem with e-mail client on my Z2:

When I open any e-mail, then click on "show images" nothing is downloading over 3G...
No images, I am unable to read any e-mail, it is useless...

I am on newest 4.4.4 Orange Poland...
I am afraid, now sms app is broken and e-mail as well.
SMS has very small emoticons, the keyboard do not hide after clicking "send" and moreover this app has problems to switch from horizontal to vertical and vice versa...

Sony please fix the issues.

Do emails reappear in trash(IMAP) bin or trash(all emails) bin?

Good call srv1.

Just checked and i think i've gotten a little confused.

There is my '[Gmail} Bin' under 'Show all folders' which i assume is my IMAP Bin, plus there is what looks like a local 'Trash' folder which is displayed directly under my email accounts and this is the folder they are staying in after i delete an email from IMAP. Is this Trash folder part of the Sony app and therefore local? If so do i have to manually delete emails from this folder each time i delete or archive them in Gmail or can i set it up otherwise?

Thanks for any assistance.
