Xperia Z2 Battery life lenght?

So I just got my Z2 yesterday, imported from Singapore (pre-ordered it and asked someone to get it).

However, after charging it to full, the phone lasted only about 6-7 hours. Every hour it drains 10%, and if I played a game (Real Steel) for 1:30 hour, the battery drops 35%. My brightness setting is about 20-30%, not that much, and the phone gets hot sometimes too.

is it normal? Thanks.

The battery will improve after some time.and yes,if you keep the screen on playing games for hours,you will see a significant drop.

Just like alexdon said, the battery will reach it full capacity after a while. Charge the unit often since it's new and you could also take a look in the following FAQ-topic to see if you can find any tip to improve the battery performance:

It's pretty normal, if you want to decrease it's battery consumption kill and disable unnecessary apps that are running in the device

i have to say that while I'm having a few issues with volumes etc, the battery life has been fantastic so far. I'm getting easily 2 days out of a full charge, with 4g on permanently, location services on and Google Now etc running. It's probably the best battery life I've seen on any phone.
