Xperia z wont boot up after crash update

Hello,

i was updating my xperia z but my internet crashed when updating now it wont boot up only show the sony logo and cant get past it.

Please help me i have my xperia z for 1 day and i wanted to update him Slightly_frowning_Face but failed

uninstall SUS > reinstall it > restart your PC > disable both firewall and antivirus > run SUS

Thank you so much uliwooly! i have been searching google all last night and today for an answer to fix myphone. This is the second time i have had an issue and i was trying anything i could first before i had to take it back to the store.

This worked for me and reccomend people to try this as well before heading back in store!

What is SUS?

I have the same probelm.. Slightly_frowning_Face

SUS is Sony update service, it is used to update or repair your device

Download it from here http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

Install it on your computer then open it select xperia z from the list of devices and then follow the steps displayed

I tried it all but it doesn't work even if I have fully battery. When I charge the battery the phone keep turning on and off by itself.

You don't have to click on update you have to selct repair software in sony update servce

keep your phone connected to wall charger for 3-4 hours after that remove it and try again

Disable your firewall and antivirus

I am encountering the same issues. Phone won't boot up. It just shows kinda repair logo and loading bar, but not booting up to the os.

When i tried repair option in software update, it shows data will be deleted. Could you let me know when you did that also all the data will be gone? Anyway to recover the data? Thanks
