Xperia Z screen dead HELP!

Hello,
screen of my Xperia Z is always black and do not light up
It seems device is still running as when I touch the screen I can hear the "tick" sound.
Also somebody was calling me and I can hear the call sound but as the screen is always black I was unable to receive it!

Now only notification LED is shining due to "missed call"

Can anyone please help me?
What to do...I am on newest 4.2.2 since a week about.

I cannot repair the phone with PcCompanion as the phone is not "unlocked" and it is impossible to unlock it as it is constantly black and do not light up!

It is unacceptable... I want my money back!

ah i had that problem once it's only your back light for screen that has gone dead so do this hold down power button so it vibrates then try to guess where power off button is and then press Yes to right some where once you managed it your phone will shut off and then you power it back on and once it's back on your screen will function normal again

if that is to hard then try

Power + vol up for 10 seconds the phone shall vibrates 3 times short that should power it off then power it back on with power button again

Thank you men, holding Power button + volume up for 10 sec helped!
It is wotking again... However, it is really a strange issue and should not happen at all in such a device that " your LED backlight gone dead" 😕

Maybe it is because of STAMINA mode enabled?

Not really stamina mode is to make battery life longer, but i guess this is a bug that happens some times. so far mine has not repeated doing it yet.

After I did it it says my SD card is corrupted and needs to be formatted... I don't want to do this as there are so many of my pictures, music and other stuff!

I was trying to put the SD to the PC but even this didn't help as catalogue was corrupted and the only way was to format it...

My friend has already a vertical black line of his expensive plasma Samsung TV... 6 months before the warranty expires, seems like somebody set the clock not correct as it probably should happen after warranty expires :smileygrin:

I addviced him to sell this TV after fixing and buy any SHARP. It seems SHARP is the only one company who manufactures its products in Japan instead of cheap china...
Sorry, but after I have this bug with my Z today, I only told him to avoid Sony products...

Hey, i tried twice of them. But my Xperia Z screen is won't run. All the Function is still running,like music. Do you have any way to get the screen on again? Can PC companion repair it?
