Wrong screen lock pattern - any solution?

I reset my screen pattern and following morning couldnt get into my phone.

I cant use xperia protect of android device manager as they wont override it

No longer aforgot pattern option, 

It seems that if we forget a password thats it , no forgotten password option

I cant get my phone into recovery - hold power and volume down , nothing happens

Hold power and volume up get the three vibrations but screen remains black?

Any help available would be much appreciated

Welcome to the community.

Sorry to hear about this If you have been unable to use My Xperia or Android Device Manager you can try a software repair using Xperia Companion to remove the pattern lock on your device. 

Please note you will need to make sure you know your Google account details before doing this, and also any data on your devices internal memory will be wiped. Unfortunately though, this would be your only option at this stage.
