I got the new update, and luckily dont have many of the probelms others report, battery time is not the best though.
But I wonder why the Trow function are gone, how is it possible to choose where to play the media files now?
Hope there is a solution to this, Søren
Hello together,
same here, missing the Throw feature on the Xperia Z5 Compact after upgrading to Android Nougat. It is not about a particular app but playing any media content via an external Bluetooth speaker or other Bluetooth connected peripheral device. Before the upgrade the Throw feature made it easy to choose the device the sound should come from or close down the media playing connection without shutting down the whole Bluetooth connection to the particular device. Couldn't find a solution to this yet either, support is appreciated. 🙂
Best regards
Hendrik
I noticed this ad well. Ever since the update I have lost the ability to control my music players from my car stereo. I have to physically do it from the phone. Did a little research and found out it is the throw feature that would allow this to work. I am no longer able to play/pause, skip forward/backwards or increase/decrease the volume (now I have to turn volume to max on phone then adjust front the stereo).
This is also evident when I cannot autocorrect to any of my Bluetooth headsets automatically or my Fitbit.
It's as if the Bluetooth is not responsive to nearby devices.
Before anyone states the obvious about reseting the phone or unpairing the devices and repairing them, it has been done several times with no change. I still have to connect them manually with limited functions other then the basic feature of it being paired. All other features have to be done direct from the phone.
CORRECT THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!
