I'm sorry to hear about this.

Do I understand correctly that when you charge the phone and it reaches 50%, Wi-Fi is turned off? If that is correct, can you go back to Settings > Wi-Fi and enable it or if you drag down the quick settings in your phone and enable it that way or can you not enable it at all?

I would recommend that you try rebooting your phone in safe mode and check if Wi-Fi turns itself off at 50% when you are charging the phone when third party applications aren't loaded.
