wifi hotspot connecting but not sharing internet connection

Hi all,
I have a Sony Xperia Z2 running version 4.4.4.

The problem is that when I create my wifi hotspot for connecting my computer to, with network will be created but no internet is available over the connection. I've tried to connect multiple devices to my phones hotspot and none of them are able to access the internet.

I have updated lately and I think this is where the issue stems from. Any help on the issue would be great.

Same problem: works on and off. The only thing I remember happening is the power went below 10%. I thought maybe my cell cut the sharing of the internet to save power.  But after charging it doesn't work. 

I do fall asleep, I accidentally change settings. So have I changed something? My APN has been the same for a year so it's not that.
