Which brand of glass is on Xperia Z3 Compact?

As the titles says, I'd like to know which brand of glass is seated on the Xperia Z3 compact, for front as well as rear? Or is it just generic tempered glass?

glass for the back, i've seen only sony. however now samsung is making it a trend

Samsung's galaxy s6 and s6 edge both have glass backs, and in my opinion took a step backwards by no longer making them waterproof.

do they emit different whites as well? my whites is different that demo phones.

I haven't heard anything about the glass giving different whites but some differences in color and brightness is normal.

Regarding the glass on the back, on Z3 it's also Gorilla 3 and on Z3 Compact it's also Dragon Trail X or Gorilla 3.

what make these differences? can't sony produce a consistent quality across its units?

All displays used does of course meet our strict quality requirements but i believe this is valid for displays in general. Not sure of the technical background though.

But there's a setting for the white balance that you can try to adjust under Settings -> Display and if you suspect there's something wrong with your display i recommend that you contact a service location to have this checked.

the color setting is rather complicated, take example new huawei, the setting is simply warm or cold. easy. maybe add another bar, simplify the process.
