weather widget with wrong location

Hi, my weather widget keeps saying that I'm the other end of England,  I've updated it but it keeps switching back, does this mean my phones been hacked and how do I stop it?

It's the accuweather one that comes up on the screen,  says eastby when I'm in Oxford

Have you granted that app the required location permission? Check in Settings -> Apps -> Accuweather (or whatever the name is) -> Permissions

Mine is also showing that I'm in Eastby even though I have never been there, also doesn't change location anymore when I do, just continues to show Eastby.

Yes, same here, my AccuWeather app frequently switches to Eastby which is the other end of the country, so it also made me suspect if I'd been hacked.

If many people using the app see the same location (Eastby) maybe it's an issue with the actual app?

Or are we all hacked by the same group!? My phone has been ridiculously slow since the Eastby thing started. It wasn't always like that.

Hi my accu weather widget keeps showing Eastby even though I have never been there, this is the second time this has happened and I'm hoping that you can resolve this issue again. Also, the clock and Google have disappeared from the home screen this time. Since the Eastby issue last time, my phone has become really slow, freezes regularly, keeps stopping and gets really hot. Are these problems related?  Thanks

I'm also having the same issue with the location showing as Eastby. I live near the M25 and have never been to Eastby. There's obviously a bug in the last software update from either Sony or Google, if we are all having this issue.

It's the built in app so who would that come down to?
