Video Player Crashing

This is really starting to bug me now.

The stock video player keeps crashing on me especially when watching video online. 

Is there a fix for this?

Try settings-apps-all-movies,force stop and clear data.Restart.

Strange,why don't you use other players like MX player or BS player?

No offence, but I bought a Sony phone with a built in video player that should be more than capable of playing Facebook video. I shouldn't need to compensate by installing third party software.

You are talking about video facebook?

Third party videoes on Facebook, not the messenger. They use the built in player as default but I keep getting the message "an unknown error occurred and the video cannot be played" and then it crashes.
