Update to 7.1.1 battery problems

Hi.

The best phone in years and now...

The last update from Sony.

Seems like the developers are doing a iphone scam. Is it so?

Why am i upset?

The new update is draining my battery like crazy.

I don't wanna buy a new one because of this.

Fix this issue right away.

Tell me how to fix this!!!

I have the same issue. And it has shut down 3 times since morning drained battery to nil.

Hey guys!

I also had this issue with my Z5, the por battery life and system shutdowns when the battery goes between 20% and 15% and when I use the camera (at any battery charge level) after the 7.1.1 update. Actually the problems started a few months after the update, or at least that's when I started to notice them. 

I tried a lot of "solutions" with little to show for. The last thing I tried was the software repair tool in XPERIA COMPANION. It basically resets the device. It seems like the part with the draining battery got fixed... The use of the camera (especially in recording mode) stil makes the device shutdown... Now I need to see if the device performs a shutdown when it goes below 20% of battery life. 

P.S If any of you has an idea of why the use of camera does that, please share.
