unlock code

hello i bought my z3 with ee . now want to unlock it to use different network but when i typed unlock code says unsuccesfull also had mail from ee which says 

If the code is not accepted, on the call screen type in *#*#7378423#*#*

This should bring up a menu.

Tap on service info
Tap on SIM lock

If the number next to “Network” is zero, you would need to visit sony. but i couldn't find any answer. hoper someone knows how deal with it thank you.

How many times did you enter the incorrect code?
If more than 5 it is most likely hard locked to ee and would need some serious work to unlock it.
What does it say in the SIM lock menu?
Post a screenshot if you can

As @Viridis wrote if you could provide us with information regarding how many attempts you have left it would be really helpful.

Start the phone without a SIM-card and open up the phone application, type in *#*#7378423#*#* > tap service info > tap SIM lock. Which number is displayed next to "Network"?

If it says 0 here I'm afraid you have used up all your attempts to unlock the SIM network and the phone has to be sent in to a authorized service centre. I will not be able to assist you with getting the phone sent in but your Local support can assist you with this!

i tried twice that unlock code  from ee but says unsuccessfull.

and checked service info but number next to “Network” is zero. i guess i have to change something from device but have no clue at all.

In the network little box..is there an "x" inside

I'm sorry I forgot to mention what @Viridis is asking.

Is there an "X" in the checkbox next to "Network" in the service menu? Below you will find a screenshot of this menu.



If there is an "X" in this checkbox and you see "0" after "Network" the phone is locked to a specific operator and you have no attempts left to unlock it.

To get new attempts the phone will have to be sent to a authorized service centre. Your Local support can assist you with getting the device sent in.

Hi, what if my phone shows network subset unlimited? Will I be able to unlock it?
And also the problem is the part where you're suppose to enter the unlock code, it doesn't show up. Where do I put the code? I tried inserting the new sim but when I restart the phone nothing happens it just goes right to the launcher and shows PERSO LOCKED.

Btw, my phone is Sony Xperia Z3 401SO from Softbank
