Translucent message error after updating lollipop, please help!

Hi,

I just updated the software on my Sony Xperia Z3 compact and I have encountered a messaging problem. If I try to send a standard "chat" message, it turns translucent after I send it, with no info displayed underneath such as if it's sending. It doesn't change and I have held down on the message to "resend as sms" but the option isn't there!
I have tried deleting the conversation and sending another, and restarting. Can anyone help please?

I'm not sure what you mean, could you perhaps post a screenshot so we can look closer? Also, do you have the possibility to try another Theme to see if same behaviour appear?

Hi, sorry that it had already been posted, I searched and could not see that. Also sorry but I seem to have realised what it is, the translucency means it hasn't sent and stays that way because for some reason the "chat" messages don't work, I switched it to sms mode and that seems to have solved the problem, thanks!
