Touch screen problem

I have a z5 premium, I got a touch screen problem after last update, the touch screen don't work in some places

any specific locations on the screen that do not respond? (like top far left or middle sideways etc.)

YEAS. THIS IS MY ISSUE, i have tried software repair, factory restore etc. but it didnt work out.

at first i thought it must be a hardware problem(with touchscreen), but later i saw, sometimes the problem is as like in this picture, and some other time, the deadzone expands till all bottom of the screen. then after a restart the bottom space comes back online. but the center spot remains dead.

and sometimes the center  dead zone decreases to like 1cm hieght. then it expands to this current size. no app, not even system is recognising this spots. definitley its not a software problem. i have expired warrenty period. the service center guyz are asking half the price of this mobile. (18000 INR), they are insisting me to chage the touchscreen along with display. but those dont seem to be a techie. just the receptionist decides what kindaa problem is this? they are only keen in making money. i strongly belive its not a hardware issue. because sometime those spots work at bottom, and sometime not. the center spots are dead all times. please help me. ASAP.

I'm sorry to hear about your issue but does seem to be a hardware issue, as for pricing it varies per country, as it could be just a LCD/Touchscreen unit or it could be more than that
