Touch Screen Not Working At All

My Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Dual touch screen suddenly not working. I dropped it few month ago and the back cover was cracked but it still works until yesterday. Everything is functioning well except the touch screen, it is not working at all (not detecting any touch).

How to fix this? Is this a software or hardware problem?

It could be software, but I suspect it's hardware related. You can try connecting a mouse via the otg cable and connecting to and performing a backup using Xperia Companion then performing a software repair using Xperia Companion.

If those methods fail, you need to contact your Local support for a repair I'm afraid

So I tried to boot to safe mode and did a software repair but it fix nothing. I believe the problem comes from the digitzer. 6 years using sony xperia smartphone and I've spent too much for screen replacement. I think its time to switch to other brand.

My Xperia Z5 Dual out of sudden touch screen not working without drop, it still can display nicely.

Went to shop to replace the screen and still the same issue, bought the otg cable to connect mouse but doesn't work as needs to enable otg function before use.

Anyone can help???
