I got a z5 compact because my Z1 broke, and there is quite the dissapointment.
Its quite slow in usage, opening apps etc, the battery life is worse than the Z1, but what this is about is major annoyance in daily use; I had hoped that it would be as fast working as the Z1 when it was new, before the software upgrades made it really slow to...
1: when using stamina, it takes long time to connect to wifi after wakeup, from 30-60 secons... The Z1 did not haves this problem, it just connected really fast.
2: When selecting Throw, it takes around 20 seconds to display the available connections to throw to... The Z1 took maybe one second, and normally connected to the nearest automaticalliy anyway.
Why this bad performance, is anyone else having the same trouble?
And please dont tell me to "repair" the software, the phone is 3 weeks out of the box, it should not be necessary to do this ...Looking forward to a solution to this, since I feel a bit stupid for choosing Sony phone again....

No problem with the wifi on the compact, really moves fast with that. However I will have to try a bluetooth headset or something to check throw. By weekend I will reply.
@z1compacto lol I can't agree more, it takes forever to open any app on a Z5C, the phone freeze like everytime I unlock it, all that with a battery that can't even last a day.
I can't say there is lag but it does heat up sometimes. I had a smartband connected and a bluetooth headset, no problem however.
Hi, thank you very much for the reply.
I tried to go into safe mode, ithe throw function worked fast as it should, and when returning to normal it (so far) works as desired.
It still uses a LOT of battery though...
thx again, Søren
