hotfix Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2917929) does not download on my computer as sony pc companion says i need to install before it will update. my OS is windows 8.1 x64 although when i got to install it says error "this update is not complicable to your computer. there for i can not update through sony pc companion due to this error.and it will not udate through wi-fi as it say computer required. Need help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Google Sony SUS and download it, or you can get it from here http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

follow the instructions, it will update your phone to the latest version, I had the same problem.

As from 21st July 2014, the Update Service application is no longer supported. To update the software in your device, use PC Companion instead.
