strange icon on every Screen

Hi - a strange black icon with a white folder appears on every screen on my mobile.

when clicked there is a vibration sound and nothing else happens.  It has proved impossible to delete or bin the icon or otherwise move it out of the way!

This looks like a 3rd party app overlay, can you boot into safe mode and check if it is still there?

Yes its atill there in safe mode

if I gently press it it turns blue and when I move the screen a voice declares screen three of five and the icon returns to black!

Ok, this looks like you activated an option in Accessibility settings:

Go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Select to Speak -> Disable

@Mervyn11for the future, you can just hold power button and volume down button at the same time to take a screenshot, no need to scan the phone
