Stereo sound in FM-radio with Android 6.0?

My Z3 has updateted yesterday to Marshmellow version.

I have noticed today that even bradcasting is in stereo, it does not sound stereophonic althugh stereo indicator is on.

Am I unique in that phenomenon?

I see.

In case you should decide to update again and this happens, also try safe mode. The radio goes silent when something is using the micrphone (except for TrackID).

I'm facing the same issue with radio app .background playback is not available and stereo mode is not that good in marshmallow.

After the Marshmallow update, in the FM-Radio application all of the stations are mono. Before the update the same stations used to be stereo (at the same place). I tested it on another Z3C, which runs Lollipop, and the same stations were clear, and stereo.

Could you give an update to fix the problem?

I can confirm, after updating to Android 6.0.1 FM radio in my Z3 lost stereo sound. With 5.1 was ok. Now, even when stereo indicator shows "stereo", sound is mono. With some strongest stations stereo sound appears, but is very, very weak. I had similar problems with my LG G2, so I decided to replace it with Z3. I want to install back Lolipop 5.1 on my Z3. How can I do it?

Z3 has been replaced to Z5 in January2017. I face same problems with my current Z5 as well.Extensive discussions with Israeli dealer and Sony Mobile resolved the problem.

Firstly my sincere apologies for delaying my response.

Problem has been resolved by  Sony Mobile headquarters by me alerting their attention.

Mayn phenomenon now is that Sony has abondoned this app and does not include in recent models. 

SAD, VERY SAD.
