STAMINA mode keeps turning display off

Hi,

I got my Z2 just over a week ago and I noticed that when I have STAMINA mode on that my display keeps timing out every 5 seconds despite the settings being on for 5 minutes. Does anyone know what the issue is and how to rectify it.

Does the Z2 has Smart backlight control

settings > screen > smart backlight control.

Yeah, it does, however I thought this was an issue, so I turned that off then stamina back on and the issue still carries on

Reset stamina like this: first disable it,after that,go to settings-apps-all,scroll down to stamina app. Tap on it and force stop and clear data. Restart the device and enable it. See how it is.
