Sony Z1 and Outlook not responding

have a Sony z1 C6906 with android 5.1.1 and build number 14.6.A.1.236. My only issue I have had is lately. Outlook 365 is freezing up. The error code I get is Outlook is not responding. So my choice is wait or OK. If I enter OK then it will exit out. If enter wait then I get into outlook but cannot do any thing. I have 2 Sony z1 phones and identical on both phones. Also this seems to affect my contacts. Have you heard of this issue? What needs to be done on my phone?

Who is the appropriate developer. Sony?  Its outlook 365
