after the update of 4.3 i am facing severe problems with my phone, the apps crash very frequently then ever before, the ALBUM app has almost stopped working, things on the memory card fail to load(i have even tried replacing my SD card with a Class 10 400X speed category which was a Class 6 before) but no changes, the phone itself freezes innumerable times during normal use.
the applications are the same as before,no new applications installed.
i have never thought that such a buggy update be released by SONY,its really pathetic, please help me how to downgrade it to 4.2.2,my phone was extremely powerful with that.

There might be compatibility issues between the old backup and new software.
I would advise simply repairing the firmware via a reinstallation using the steps below:
1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

as per your advice i have re installed the phone software once again, the PC companion software failed to do the job,i waited almost more then 4 hours for it to happen, but unfortunately not, and i had to complete my job using the UPDATE SERVICE software by SONY,the device is running smooth except the ALBUM application again as before, now i am facing a serious problem,i had completed my backup with PC COMPANION software before i did the re installation but now the PC COMPANION software fails every time to restore the device from its back up,i have to manually extract the most important files from the back up and then copy/paste the same to my device, please help.
The permissions on the SD card all changed.
This means a lot of apps were broken.
Sony did not inform any of its users, nor did the carriers, that upgrading might break apps we paid for.
