service reply after dailing

i have update my phone from lollipop 5.0.2 to 5.1.1

but after update when i make a call there is no service reply message like my balance

What @uliwooly is saying is why would this be a Sony issue - Sony wouldn't give you a message about a balance because they wouldn't have access to this info and if they did then your network would be in breach of data protection so you need to contact your network regarding this

That's something your network has to send, contact them.

This is also happening to me after upgrading to 5.1.1.  When I send a Service Message  (USSD code)  to my mobile operator, for example *222# for a balance check the message keeps saying "sending USSD code" and the message is not sent. 

Please don't say that this is an operator issue.  If I put the same carrier SIM in another phone and the USSD code starts working and my balance is sent by the carrier. 

Furthermore both SIMs in my Xperia Dual (which are from two different carriers) cannot service messages (USSD Code)

Sony please look into this urgently as this is a great inconveninence

Same problem after upgrading to 5.1.1 here in Pakistan. A big issue as cannot find my account balance nor can I recharge my account.

Now I have to remove my SIM card put it in another device which is a great inconvenience.

Very disappointed that Sony is totally silent on this issue.
