Hello, if I want to make the Z5 a call and dial the number and pick up the phone, the screen goes black and I can do nothing more. It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.
Hi,
I have the same issue as well. Also sent mine for repair no fault found. I don't have a screen cover either. Also done the update to repair still the same. Sony need to come up with a fix asap. Some times i have to remove the sim card just to get phone to work again.
I experienced this scenario several times, and my screen doesn't have a screen protector. Even pressing the power buttong doesn't help.
Hey dude... tnx a lot really, i was so nervus coz i though that my z5 premium is already "broken somehow" and i still have orginal "screen protector" as u get when u buy it... and as i remove it it works properly fine....
Same problem here, started with latest update. No screen protector.
If I go into the Service Menu, the proximity sensor seems to work fine on the test screen.
For other people experiencing this problem: I have found a workaround. It's far from perfect, but if I push the power button, followed by the volume button, the screen comes alive.
Hello,
I have recently noticed that when i make or take a call it remains black and i cant do anything with the screen,
Iv read alot of the same problems on the forum, tried all the fixes and nothing works!
Im rather upset about it as iv done 2 resets to my phone now and i hate it
Iv got a screen protector on it but didnt have this problem when i put it on, its a tempered glass one
I need a fix for this and quick, i dont want to have to take this back and loose out on the money for the protector!
It's better to lose some money for tempered glass, to try to see if tempered glass is the guilty, than send to repair your phone, where your tempered glass will be for sure removed
