problems with battery

 having z3 compact

Now there are problems with battery - sometimes it shows 50% sometimes 1-2%.

When I charge red charging light becomes visible then it disappers and battery is not charging

I don't have warrenty valid so how closely it usually to fix battery via Sony service center?

Or what are another possible fixes?

I'm sorry to hear this. I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion on your device to see if this behavior is software related.

If you are still experiencing the same behavior after doing a software repair, I recommend that you get in contact with out Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair. Your local support team can also assist you with questions regarding service routines and warranty in your country/region.

Now it doesn't even turn on so iv cannot use xperia app to reset the phone

I would probably go with service center
