Pink spot with xperia z3 camera

Hi, I just got my z3 less than a week ago, today I notice pink spot with the camera and all the photos I take. Is this a software issue or should I take it to sony a.s.a.p? Sample photo:

It corrected how the photo looks on your phone. It's simply a display calibration and does not affect how the photo will be taken. Download it and see how it really looks like.

I am sorry, not clear to me - is the pink spot problem now resolved after system update? Really want to buy this phone in US, but holding off until issue is fixed

Sony does not aknowledge this as a problem so I doubt it they will ever fix it. I personally am waiting for Android 5 and if it's not fixed I will start replacing it, either with properly working one or with Nexus 6 or something else.

i hope they fix their camera quality in general with the lollipop update or allow the raw images so that they can be processed with a third party app. Their noise algorithms are too heavy for my taste and i hate the skin smooth that is applied in every photo without a setting to disable it.

I've bought myself a Xperia Z3 (T-Mobile) D6616 and it does seem to have this "Pink" spot. But the only time it ever shows is in low light conditions without Flash. It seems to only appear when the cameria is pointed to a white surface. If you get a blue towel and you point the camera at it in low light, its impossible to see this pink spot. It's also impossible to see this pink spot when your taking outside pictures, even at night.

Most likely this is a software issue. If it was a hardware problem, then the pink spot should appear in every photo you take, including clear sky photos, landscapes, etc.

I'm not saying that no phone has a defect but most situations posted here seem to involve low lighting.

Sony on the other hand has to update their Camera algorithms in the next update. A simple software fix should fix mostly everyone's problem.

I'm on my second handset from o2 and both have the pink blur around the camera. I am now having to wait for third, to see if this has finally been rectified.

Come on sony can this be repaired by using a ptch otherwise I will have to walk away from the sony flagship, as the hwole point of this phone was the camera that takes brilliant pictures in low light. it doesnt.

I can't understand WHY SONY don't  answer for this problem. Sony just tell us, we must wait for an update, we must repair the phone or maybe we are fools who gave 650 € for your product, because too many customers complain. Angry_Face
