Pink spot with xperia z3 camera

Hi, I just got my z3 less than a week ago, today I notice pink spot with the camera and all the photos I take. Is this a software issue or should I take it to sony a.s.a.p? Sample photo:

Bought in October a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

Today I discovered a camera issue that seems to be widespread among the Xperia Z3 users. (Greenish-Yellow SPOT)

What shall I do? Waiting for a software update or asking assistance?

It would be useful if SONY gives some info on the issue. A company like this cannot be silent for months!

for me i think it's a hardware issue, millions of people bought this phone and who complained about this pink spot is hundreds of people only, so i think the phone with pink spot problem is faulty unit, maybe if only millions people complained about this problem i think it really will be software issue, but i'm too just checked at sony mobile facebook page and i think it's only me who complained about this **bleep** pink spot, so really i think all of us is gettin' faulty unit

^Umm how about no...just no.

Superior auto mode without pink spot is where Sony needs to fix the issue. Workarounds like that is just pure gibberish for the normal consumers.

Same problem here, getting the really bad pink hue coming from my pics.
Contacted sony about it and now just have to wait and see what they say.

I just had a Sony Xperia system update offered, I installed the 129.6MB offering (Version 23.0.1.A.5.77). After my Z3 rebooted I took some pics..

How about if you guys change the white balance and then try to click a pic ? any1 can cofirm that??

I have tried it. The white balance controls only the display on your device, sadly the camera too. So you might change the white balance to values you like, but what you see on the camera and the actually taken photos will be different than the reality. When you download the photo you will see that it's actually very different than what you see on the phone. Something like monitor calibration.
