For warranty and maintenance information, you should contact your Local support directly. The warranty statements will differ between markets and regions. But what we know is if you fix your phone in an authorized Sony repair center, IP rating of your phone should be kept as standard. Thus any water or dust resistance properties should stay the same.

As @Quester said you should try and to get in contact with your Local support for assistance with questions regarding warranty. This is because warranty coverage may differ between countries and only you local support can answer questions specific to your country.
