phone calls hanging up.

This has been going on since I got the phone and this is my second z2 so far this year when are you going to sort it out.. every time I answer a call and put the phone to my ear it hangs the call up or I select a contact and start a call usually after a minute or so the call will be ended.... My stepdad past away last night do you think I could call anyone to organise stuff er NO...! I nearly smashed this phone up..!! SONY your lucky I'm not taking legal action these phones are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE sort it out ASAP... !

Do you have a protective case or an extra protective film that might be blocking or obstructing the proximity sensor?

Hi the only thing on my phone is the screen protector that came in the box from Sony it has all the cut outs for the proximity sensor and camera...?

I've also noticed that if I do have a long conversation on loud speaker when the screen does go to sleep when I tap the screen to wake it up that too hangs the call up..!.come on sony ffs....!!

This is a setting in your phone: Main Menu > Settings > Accessibility > Untick 'Power button ends call".

I have been having this same issue and this fixed it:

 Main Menu > Settings > Accessibility > Untick 'Power button ends call".

But this should be a bug, double tapping is treated as a "power button" press.

Unticking the power off to end calls seems to be working, bit annoying I can't use the option though as it's easier for me to just squeeze the power button at the end of a call rather than wait till the screen wakes up before tapping the end call bar..?!

Xperia L3 keeps hanging up calls when i am in them for long periods of time, ie 25 mins+. this is INCREDIBLY frustrating as i have had to contact the tax office 4 times in the same day due to being cut off randomly. i have already unchecked the setting for the power button to end calls and have looked at other settings in the phone to make sure i am not doing something else which i am not. what else can be done to sort this, if there is no option ill just trade the phone in and go back to Iphone
