Overheat control data hogger.

Hi there,

Is anyone elase finding that overheat control is a data hogger?

My Onavo App Watch is telling me that my Z  has used 218 Mb so far in the last 7 days, which is massive. Angry_Face

What does this app do?

Can i just restrict this app to wifi?

it seems that it only used up that data while on wifi

also you do NOT need that app "Onavo Extend" a bit ironic that you are trying to save your data and it used up 100MB, if you don't apps to use as much data > tap on an app (on that list) and disable background data usage.

also other apps to stay away from

taskillers

task managers

antivirus

ram apps

battery apps

booster apps

you do NOT need those apps, they will create issues, drain your battery and sometimes use up your data.

thanks for looking.

I do have Lookout antivirus, but i don't use any of the other problem apps you have identified.

Howver the Overheat control has used almost all of the 615 MB of my data plan this month.

do you know if there is a way to restict it to wifi?

Thanks for your help?

i can't see that on those screenshots, do you see the white marks on the graph , can you move the left side to the beggining of the graph, that will show the real data usage

Does this screenshot help?  It shows the bulk of the data is mobile data...

it'll be easier if you follow my advice

settings > data usage > on the graph move the left white bar all the way to the left (beggining of the graph (0,0) )

It just seems really dubvious, why would an app that gives the impression that disabling it would potentially damage the phone, have such a ridiculous amount of permissions?
Why is thus app doing other things?
