No warnings when raising volume level

Hi,

I just purchased my Xperia Z2 about a week ago and I'm completely satisfied with the phone. Just one thing that bothers me is that until now it would display the warning when rasining music volume above certain level while using earphones, however today it suddenly stopped showing that warning. I'm still using the earphones that came with the phone and I have not changed any setting for it neither disabled it somehow.

Could something be wrong with my earphones? Like them not being properly detected or something. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not but ever since the warning stopped the sound quality seems to have gone down.

In the end I did factory reset and that seems to have fixed the issue.

When the caution prompt, did you tap on the little checkbox. Do not show me again?

That maybe one of the reason too and you may have accedentally tap on that you may not know.

Hi Bandolero, thanks for you reply.

It has missed my attention that there was a tickbox, if thats the case then it is defnitely a possibility. Is there a way to undo this?

Try to reset app preferences.

Go to settings > Apps > All and tap on the 3 little dot on the top right > Reset app preferences.

If you agree with the caution tap on Reset apps to proceed.

Hope that helps.

I've given app preferences reset a try, didn't change the situation, any other suggestions? Except the hard reset
