New update, my Z5 is not starting up at all

New update, my Z5 is not starting up at all

Hi there

I left my phone whilst it was doing an update on the charger to avoid the phone dying. However when i came to check up on the phone and update status, it seemed that the phone has just died on me, the only thing it is responding to is a blinking red light flashing every 3 seconds and that is only because it is plugged into a power supply. No other actions are bringing the phone to life. I have tried to switch it off from the side button near the sim card and even removed my sim card and SD card but still nothing. Left it on charge for nearly 2 hours now.

Is there anyone with the same experience or can help?

Happened to me too when I updated it the first time it became available for the z5 Premium. I had to send it in for repairs..sounds like you will too.

I recommend you perform a software repair on your handset to reinstall the firmware.

Hi there

i did try a software repair via pc but unfortunately it doesn't even turn on when following the standards procedures.

At this point I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange an assessment.
