my xperia z2 not charging ata all

My phone is not charging at all. I connected to charging last night with 30% battery. Today morning I found to 1%. Phone is switched off and it is not switching on. I tried the reset button but no use. now the phone is off and not charging. I am frustrated with the charging problem with z2. Its just 4months old. I want Sony compay just to replace the set.

Sorry to hear that, connect your phone to a wall charger, press and hold power and volume up for ten seconds, let it charge for 2-3 hours

What icon does it show for charging when it is switched off

It won't show any signs of life for couple of hours, just let it charge
