is there any way to enable the subtitle in the movie app (especially the arabic subtitle), i know there is other apps can do that but i want the original movie app on my Xperia Z. or could this be added on the next software updates?

Thank you for pointing to this, it's appreciated, but in my other deleted (I think) thread I mentioned 8 points and only 1 or 2 points are related to this thread, Or you mean to add my other points to this thread as will.
i found a video player useful for you that lets you use subtitles it even ads them automaticly to video some how whille you watch a video
search for app called dice player on googleplay
worked great when i was doing a test play with avatar extended collection edition FULL HD on my mobile then i could enable subtitles thanks to dice player that had that feature 
Hi, i´ve got the same problem, and found solution so i decided to put it in here
To add subtitle to a playing movie using default Movie app on your Xperia, you just need to make sure, both video file and subtitle file are at the same directory, with the same file name (of course with different extension) and then it automaticly loads the subtitles.
