Mobile data stopped working

Hi,

Up until about two weeks ago my mobile data was working but then all of a sudden it stopped. There is not a problem with the network provider and according to the update center my phone is fully up to date. Would anyone know what this could be?

Have you tried your sim card with other phones?
Btw how old is your simcard?

I actually just got a new sim which worked for the first week or so. My sim was tried in another phone and it also worked. I have since also tried using another sim card from another network (abroad - I usually use mobile data on that network as well) and again it doesn't work.

Hmm thats weird.

Try this:

Go to Settings> More... > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

Then check if the APN used is the one your network provided and not other else(in my phone is SONY GPRS)

Not sure if this gonna work though but try it

Thanks! Seems this may have done the trick. ow let's hope I can find the right settings on my abroad networks as well... 😉
