Whenever I try to send a message to a contact, I get "message queued for sending" but nothing is going through. The phone is new and it's the first time I'm using it. It's an Xperia Z1. Hope you can help.
Do you have the correct APN settings
Settings > xperia > internet settings
settings > more > access point names > tap on the current settings > double check them
you can google them
I am having the same problem. I have the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra just bought brand new yesterday. Set it up tried to download my MMS setting and it gave the message unable to download. I tried to manually go in and set my APN settings, still nothing works. Everytime I try to send a picture I get "queued for sending" message at the bottom of picture then eventually shows as failed. I tried to use with and without WiFi. PLease help. Thanks
Hi, For the past 6 months i've been unable to send picture attachments through messaging .I've tried resetting the phone, changing sim cards, changing APN#,turning airplane mode on anything that was on the internet to try and get messaging to work. Well 2 days ago while trying to change the APN# again i decided to see if changing the APN protocol and the APN roaming # would do anything. Well to my surprise it worked!! If you change numbers on the APN protocol and Apn roaming protocol from 4 to 6 then, press save, turn off the phone then turn it back on, it worked!! Now i have a Xperia SP so i don't know if it will work on other models but,you have nothing to loose. In order to find these's setting you must go to APN settings scroll down to APN protocol & APN roaming protocol. When you click you will see 3 settings 4,6 and 6&4. Set them to "6". Good luck!!!
I'm having the same problem, I guess it's time to go back to iP.
