Got a stupid question but i'd like some replies on this if I get any, my phone stalled whilst installing the update on late September/early October and the phone hasn't been responsive since.
I've sent it to the so called specialists for repairs but their detailed report just said the board is dead because of a crack on the back cover so that's why it doesn't come on.
My question is if the main board is dead, would the phone charging light come one if u plug in the charger or if u try the other restoring mothods would the phone charger light stay on and phone still vibrate as if it were starting up?
Please if someone could assist me with this.
I'm sorry to hear but there's nothing left to be done, if the motherboard it's cracked there's nothing that can be done to turn on the phone or to get any data stored in the internal storage. Keep in mind that replacing the motherboard its the most expensive part of the phone, almost the same price as a new phone.
Thanks for the reply but would the lights and the phone vibrating still working if what they are saying is true that the board is cracked because before the failed update the phone was fine?
I'm asking cause for me it doesn't make sense and I think they are lying to me to make more money.
Oh and the board isn't cracked just the back cover but I used the phoned for months despite that.
This is where the cracked started but the phone never fell or anything.
The origin of the crack is on the camera which works fine btw and not directly anywhere on the phone in the middle, the phone never fell it was in my pockey with my powerbank and the edge of thw powerbank pressed against where the crack started.
