Lost Messaging app

I have my messaging app or deleted or uninstalled. How do are download it?

Hi @Marlo-A, welcome to our forum!

To be able to assist you in the best possible way, could you get back to me with which phone model and Android version that you have? You can find this information in Settings > About phone.

The preinstalled Messaging application can not be uninstalled, however it can be disabled. To see if you have disabled the application, go to Settings > Apps > Messaging, does it say that it is disabled here? If it does, tap on it and tap on "Enable".

messaging app in my xperia z5 is missing. and when i try to locate it to apps and search message it will routed me to the other page.

Hi @OT2, sorry to hear about this.

Have you had the time to take a look at my previous reply in the this thread? As the application can't be removed, it is most likely just deactivated.
