Little 'bumper' damage

Hi,

Iam new to forum and I signed because of my problem:

Xperia Z3 has these little bumpers on each corner.

One of them is missing on my phone, it accidentally fell out when I took my phone out of my pocket. (The bumper is missing so I can't put it back on)

I went to 'Phone house' a company that works with Sony, they told me that everything on my phone will be deleted?!

Is this true? What am I supposed to do now?

Can't I buy these little things and put them back on myself?

Of course fixing such a small hardware part would not cause your phone to be wiped, may be it's the policy of this company to wipe your phone prior to servicing it for your own privacy.

Anyways, search eBay for "Xperia Z3 set of 4 corner parts housing" and you'll get results for all colors.

Keep in mind that by doing so the warranty might be void, also keep your phone away from water as it might no longer ber waterproof and only if you send it to your local Xperia care

Those "bumpers" are part of the middle chassis. They cannot be changed without changer the whole center unit.
