Is my xperia z2 still waterproof after the back of the phone broken?!

Hello fellow xperia z2 users. As the titel already said; is my xperia z2 still waterproof if i have some cracks on the back of the phone? The rest of my phone is still intact.

It depends on how large are those cracks.But it should be still fine.

Well the cracks are small, so i don't have to worry about it when taking my phone into the water?

The device is pretty messed up.I think you should stop by a sony service though.

Yeah true but it's only on the back of the phone. Is it still waterproof right now or not?

Hi, you might get away by using a back screen protector probably a glass one BUT the back screen is easier/cheaper to fix/repair than the front so i would invest in that solution.....better than than water damage & a **bleep** of a lot cheaper:smileysmileywink:

I'd say that it would not be waterproof at all anymore, even if it didn't look like it had been hit by a car. Just remember, IF you got any water damage, the cracked back or any crack for that matter would be a "get out of jail free" card for Sony to refuse any warranty coverage.
