Hi,
I've just got my Xperia Z3 which is the first Sony smartphone I ever have. But all the reviews I've seen mentione that the camera in auto mode shoots only 8mp photos. Is that true? And if it is,why?
Yes and no, superior auto use the 20mp sensor but it use something called "pixel binning" which will improve the picture quality.
I do understand that. But why only 8mp when other do almost the same thing with 13mp or even 16mp ?
And why the 20mp mode in manual only 4:3 ? sorry for the bother BTW
Late reply here but for your information superior auto cannot use the full resolution, as it uses the capacity for other features included in its functionality, for example, HDR (high dynamic range).
in manual mode and superior mode .. why HDR function is always disabled ???
